The argument is moot.

Carbon dioxide follows oceanic temperature.

Climate variability occurs through cyclical variations in the sun and the planets and the solar system.

Yes, you know, I know, and the enlightened people of the World know it's all just another Fear Porn scam.

Just as we know the Covid Plandemic was also. Another power grab, wealth transfer scam.

But showing how the very "solutions" they demand for their scam are idiotic, moronic and ineffective is also an effective angle to expose the Malthusian misanthropic psychos who are shoving this outrage down our throats, just as they did for their SARS-CoV-2 bioweapon, that they had engineered in a Chinese lab.

Conflating apples and stones is utterly ridiculous.

Neo-imperialist mainland China, under the CCP and using their military to produce a lethal bioweapon has nothing to do with a fake climate emergency crisis. NOTHING.

The infection of almost every human group on all continents including Antarctica by an unmistakably lethal virus is a true pandemic which has not yet ended.

The idiocy of calling it planned is obvious, it began killing its own citizens first. Have you not caught up with the Chinese population crisis, how the one-child policy has left them aged with a dropping population and their typical totalitarian response to make three children compulsory?

You really don't know about their Covid plandemic. It all centers around Ralph Baric who was the first to figure out how to infect humans with an airborne coronavirus by inserting furin cleavage sites into the genome. Funny both republicans and democrats refuse to question Baric who knows more than anybody about it. Suspicious or what. Watch & learn:

Why So Little Media Interest In Ralph Baric? - Peak Prosperity, Dr. Chris Martenson:

"...“Their” Covid narrative is falling apart, and we’re helping of course. Far too little attention has been paid to Ralph Baric by the media and given his expertise in the area, it’s particularly odd that they did not ask him once about coronavirus infections and cardiomyopathy. Oh, … and the next acts of war against Russia were unleashed this week....

Climate changes without any help or hindrance of puny humanity.

There is no such thing as "SCIENCE" unless it is a new religion.

There are sciences, plural.

It is firmly established that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of planet earth rises and falls AFTER the rise and fall of the temperatures of the ocean waters. An observation deduced from multiple sources of investigation in several scientific disciplines.

You are so irrational it is a waste of my time bothering to address you any more.

More sarcasm?

There is NO positive feedback the way you claim and you do not even describe the feedback nonsense correctly in quoting it, you have not understood it at all.

Feedback is also the nonsense idea entered into the climate models to produce the results they want, all models get their predictions wrong and more wrong each time they make another.

The contribution of carbon dioxide to the overall phenomenon called "greenhouse" is very minor and is already past its maximum at the current concentration.

More CO2, no increase in greenhouse effect.

Delivery cost - to those that can't afford a POD MOD -- Zero -- and the twin head induction cooking unit is included - again, at no cost -- because they can be mass produced, very inexpensively for the company -- which will be donating them -- at no charge.

The power setting will be "selectively" set to match the existing AC power voltage output level - present in the area that the POD MOD will be handed out.

If there is no existing AC power in the area - the setting will be made to match the nearest adjacent AC power levels - so they match.

I'm doing it -- because it has to be done.

I'm not a cynic -- I work to get things done - not just sit back , throw verbal opinion - and bitch

This is a well written and annotated report. The answer is to replace the cooking fire with induction heating units powered by a POD MOD power unit, -which it can also power strings of LED lights, space heaters, powered house hold appliances and power tools -- and I just can't wait to read what SmithFS to going to try and add concerning the Rossi C-Cat here.

How much for a MOD POD delivered to a field in Kenya? With no electricity. What power output?

The can't afford "induction heating units" or "power strings of LED lights" or E-Cats either. Get real.

Probably, but Geez what a roundabout, error prone strategy compared to everybody just enacting a tax on net emissions of CO2! For most places this means an excise tax on fossil fuels in proportion to their carbon content with the revenues used for what ever is most needful. For a few rich countries this would include subsidies for the removal of CO2.

Expand full comment

Fossil fuel is essential to the perpetuation of healthy civilisation amongst first and second world populations and the elevation of all third world peoples to a share in the same quality of life.

Fossil fuel is necessary for the construction of nuclear fission power stations and 'poles and wires' distribution networks. Lots of it needed before there is sufficient nuclear power being generated to allow changes in the mining, extraction, transport and manufacturing processes and ALL aircraft propelling fuel production.

Expand full comment

No you don't need fossil to build Nuclear power. Although rationally you would use some, since the fossil needed for that purpose is trivial. But you can always use non-fossil methanol. In many ways a superior fuel to coal, oil & gas.

The prime application of fossil should be petrochemicals, everything else can be replaced with nuclear/methanol, more economically.

Mining machinery, transporters, diggers, cranes, riveters, lorries, trucks ...

Any idea about the centrifuges; the chemicals involved in making the hexafluoride?

Tell me which iron smelter in your district manages to make iron and steel without coal/coke in the furnace.

Cloud cuckoo land imbecility!

"...Mining machinery, transporters, diggers, cranes, riveters, lorries, trucks.." can all easily be operated on methanol/DME or battery electric. It's pretty simple minded, Dufus. You never hear of flex fuel engines?

Uranium fluorination primarily uses UO2 & HF, don't need fossil fuels. You really don't have a clue do you?

It is well known that steel can be smelted with hydrogen. The amount of carbon needed is trivial amounts, easy to use coal or biomass as carbon sources. Learn a bit before making dumb comments.

And quit calling yourself "Dr", it's nice to dream but you'd be better to be realistic and limit your aspirations to becoming a trainee nurse's aid assistant.

Or even better yet, apply for a job with Scott McKie, here, as a door to door salesman of his MOD PODs. I bet he'll give you a $50 commission for every one you sell.

You know zip. You can directly run diesel engines on DME (made from methanol) which has a higher Cetane number than diesel. And methanol will run fine in spark ignition engines. Methanol is also being used in dual or tri-fueled ship engines, because it is more economical to use and meets stringent emissions limits. And Tesla is just about ready to open its $7B electric, long distance semi-truck factory in Nevada. As another method. If you can do long range trucking with BEV tech, you can certainly do heavy equipment & rail.

So you're telling us you are a burnt out ex-Hippie who tripped on too much acid in the 60's and now is brain damaged?

As here's a little FYI for your benefit:

Quoting Robert Zubrin:

" I offered to bet up to ten people $10,000 each that I could take my 2007 Chevy Cobalt, which is not a flex-fuel car, and, running it on 100 percent methanol, get at least 24 miles per gallon on the highway. Since methanol averages less than half the price of gasoline, and can readily be made from coal, natural gas, or any kind of biomass without exception, this would demonstrate superior transportation economy from a non-petroleum fuel that is producible from plentiful American resources. Unfortunately, no one took the bet. That fact alone says a lot. Of the 7 billion people on this planet, there are about a million or so who know a great deal about cars. Clearly, not one of them was sufficiently doubtful that it could be done to put his money on the line. Although it left me short a nice chunk of easy cash, the refusal of anyone to accept my challenge should have settled the matter. But some people, while refusing to take the bet, still demanded that I conduct the test anyway. I did, and here are the results."

" First, I ran the car on 100 percent methanol. This required replacing the fuel-pump seal made of Viton, which is not methanol compatible, with one made of Buna-N, which is. The new part cost 41 cents, retail. In order to take proper advantage of methanol's very high octane rating (about 109), I advanced the timing appropriately. This dramatically improved the motor efficiency and allowed the ordinarily sedate sedan to perform with a significantly more sporty spirit. As measured on the dyno, horsepower increased 10 percent. With these modifications complete, I took my Cobalt out for a road test. The result: 24.6 miles per gallon. When I first made the bet, many commentators thought that I would aim for high-efficiency performance with high-octane fuel by increasing the compression ratio of the engine (which is how race-car drivers using methanol have done it for the past half-century). However, with modern cars using electronic fuel injection, this is unnecessary. Instead, the necessary changes to the engine can be made simply by adjusting the Engine Control Unit software. Thus, except for switching the fuel-pump seal as noted above, no physical changes to the car were required "

The public won't buy Carbon Taxes. They really hate more taxes, but are easily duped with massive-unheard-of-ever subsidies, mandates and exemptions for wind & solar power. The pinnacle of inefficiency and mismanagement. Which us plebes are forced to pay for through high energy prices and general taxation.

That's why you don't want a tax but the Revenue Neutral Carbon Fee & Dividend. That rewards the poor & middle class for being energy frugal. While making the wealthy pay for their energy gluttony. That's why our ruling class despises the CF&D. And instead endlessly promote these Carbon Trading, Carbon Pricing & Net Zero Carbon Credit scams. They are designed to steal even more wealth from the poor & middle class and transfer it to the extremely wealthy. Government guaranteed profits for a patently useless carbon mitigation charade. Socialism for the rich. Hard core capitalism for the poor & middle class.

Low-cost nuclear solves this offset fraud problem. "A simple hotplate can replace dung and wood fires, but requires about 1800 watts of AC power. A typical rooftop solar panel produces 250 watts DC." https://thorconpower.com/environment/

A tax on net emissions of CO2 subsidizes nuclear relative to fossil fuels and the use of a domestic battery for surge electricity uses like the hotplate.

They can't afford a battery or a solar panel. And even if they could, they would be promptly stolen. Or maybe the solar panel will get a bullet shot threw it.

China has been cleaning up rural communities burning coal for heat & cooking fuel with methanol stoves and furnaces. They make methanol from coal there for 13 cents/liter. If you use nuclear heat, nuclear hydrogen & nuclear electricity you can produce methanol from any carbonaceous feedstock, i.e. flue gas (i.e. cement plant), seawater CO2, waste, any biomass, wildfire causing forest overgrowth, coal, peat with 1/3rd the emissions. Methanol being the cleanest burning liquid fuel, even cleaner than natural gas.

It is not realistic to expect these poor regions to burn fossil fuels. NG is very difficult & expensive to transport. Oil is very expensive. Coal is difficult & toxic to utilize at a small scale. Methanol is the ideal fuel for these regions. Easy to make (they've been making it from biomass for the past 400yrs, that's why they call it wood alcohol). Easy to transport and store with spills being benign. Very low emissions. An excellent fuel for ICE vehicles, water pumps, small generators, cookstoves, hot water and building heat.

That are Malthusian Psychopath Rulers in Davos, Geneva, London & New York are blockading methanol fuel (& nuclear energy) tells us a lot about their true motives. Misanthropic. Enforced poverty. And they REALLY could care less about climate change. Just another invented crisis to exploit to increase their already obscene wealth & power.
