An outstanding article on why preserving capitalism better enables us to adapt to future climate change.

The Green movement is about entrenching a Nazi style fascist Totalitarian eco-state. A movement that has been hijacked and embraced by the Malthusian Club-of-Rome Bankster Overlords. Where do you think Greenpeace Int'l, based in Germany, gets its incredible $400M/yr from?

In actual fact, the Green movement in Germany is an Ecofascist movement that began with Nazis in WW2 Germany and after the war Nazism morphed into Ecofascism.:

“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”

– Maurice Strong, founder of UNEP (United Nations Environmental Program)

All Ecofascists see Nuclear power as their archenemy. Because Nuclear power can easily power our civilization, with a high energy consumption and a high standard of living for essentially forever, with negligible environmental harm. At least for 100 Myrs with Earth resources. That destroys the scarcity, "Limits of Growth" dogma of the Club-of-Rome Malthusian Psychopaths. They just can't allow that.

Seems curious to me all these efforts by Ukraine to attack Nuclear Power plants. And it was admitted by captured Ukrainian soldiers that the primary goal of the Kursk incursion was to attack the Kursk NPPs, which are still of the Chernobyl variety, 2 of RMBK-1000s, without a containment building. Trying to discredit Nuclear power by deliberately creating another Chernobyl X2?

Eco-fascism: “… A totalitarian government that requires individuals to sacrifice their interests to the well-being and glory of the “land”, understood as the splendid web of life, or the organic whole of nature, including peoples and their states”.

We’re in for a major disaster if it isn’t curbed—not just for the natural world, but for the human world. The more people there are, the more resources they’ll consume, the more pollution they’ll create, the more fighting they’ll do. We have no option. If it isn’t controlled voluntarily, it will be controlled involuntarily.”..."

The Ecofascist agenda exists because it has been foisted upon us by the Globalist Central Bank Club-of-Rome Malthusian Parasite Psychopaths. Malthusianism has always been used by the welfare bum Banksters as a way to justify their extraordinary wealth & power. "Its for the good of the Environment".

Davos has been instigating this ecofascism Worldwide and milking Climate Change as the best invented crisis ever to justify their vision of a World Totalitarian Neo-feudal State in which us lowly serfs live in forced poverty, even subject to a population reduction genocide. While this ruling class lives in the lap of luxury, exempt from even the rule of law.

Yes, and just like the Nazis the Ecofascists have their own brown shirts. William Kay was being targeted by the ecofascist brown shirts, i.e. Antifa, Extinction Rebellion, etc so he had to cancel his excellent website, ecofascism.com and go into hiding. When you can't win in logical, rational debate they strike out with cowardly violence, and they're paid to do so by the hidden Aristocracy that plans on gaining total power under a techno-feudal World Government justified by their eco-dogma. That's why the Greens in Germany are such big proponents of censorship.

Perhaps it will come up later in the series, but not only do centrally planned state socialist economies have a track record of failing economically and inevitably turning into autocratic human rights disasters, they also have a track record of environmental destruction second to none. The pollution and toxic wastelands left behind by 20th century Communism vastly exceed the damage done by capitalism. If anything, the best stewards of the environment have been some of the many flavors of capitalist mixed economies.

This even seems to be implicitly recognized by many who claim to be against capitalism. Here in the U.S. many describe themselves as democratic socialists. And what they mean by that when you nail them down exactly what they want is a economy where people decide on their own to start and run businesses to provide goods and services, but that more social services are provided by government, large corporations hold less power, and there are strong environmental protection regulations....in other words another variety of a capitalist mixed economy.

A well articulated piece that echoes my own views. Importantly, it also presents the views of many poor countries that understand that the best way to deal with climate is to increase income to create effective defenses and choices.

One fact that always strikes me is that not a single country has achieved OECD-level wealth except via capitalism. Socialism/Communism undoubtedly did make some notable achievements, but in the long-run, not a single one was able to generate lasting wealth.

Here's a good list of quotes telling us what our DeGrowth, Malthusian Leaders are all about:

From THE GLOBAL REVOLUTION by The Club of Rome 1991 "Because of the sudden absence of traditional enemies, "new enemies must be identified."[2] "In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill....All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself."[3]

"We shall have world government, whether or not we like it. The question is only whether world government will be achieved by consent or by conquest"

Paul Warburg, the International Banker testifying to the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in 1950

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis."

David Rockefeller, Club of Rome executive manager

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected the promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the National auto determination practiced in past centuries.”

David Rockefeller in an address to a Trilateral Commission meeting in June of 1991

“This present window of opportunity, during which a truly peaceful and interdependent world order might be built, will not be open for too long – We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.”

David Rockefeller, Club of Rome, Sept. 23, 1994

“For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will.

If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

from David Rockefeller’s autobiography ‘Memoirs’

Clinton’s Deputy Secretary of State quoted in Time magazine on July 20, 1992: “In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea.”

" Complex technology of any sort is an assault on human dignity. It would be little short of disastrous for us to discover a source of clean, cheap, abundant energy, because of what we might do with it. "

Amory Lovins, Rocky Mountain Institute

" The prospect of cheap fusion energy is the worst thing that could happen to the planet. "

Jeremy Rifkin, Greenhouse Crisis Foundation

" Giving society cheap, abundant energy would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun. "

Prof Paul Ehrlich, Stanford University

" A massive campaign must be launched to restore a high-quality environment in North America and to de-develop the United States. De-development means bringing our economic system (especially patterns of consumption) into line with the realities of ecology and the global resource situation "

John Holdren Obama Science Czar

"In Nature organic growth proceeds according to a Master Plan, a Blueprint. Such a master plan is missing from the process of growth and development of the world system. Now is the time to draw up a master plan for sustainable growth and world development based on global allocation of all resources and a new global economic system. Ten or twenty years from today it will probably be too late."

Club of Rome, Mankind at the Turning Point

“In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation”

Prince Philip Quote

"The concept of national sovereignty has been immutable, indeed a sacred principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation."

UN Commission on Global Governance report

"Democracy is not a panacea. It cannot organize everything and it is unaware of its own limits. These facts must be faced squarely. Sacrilegious though this may sound, democracy is no longer well suited for the tasks ahead. The complexity and the technical nature of many of today's problems do not always allow elected representatives to make competent decisions at the right time."

Club of Rome, The First Global Revolution

"In my view, after fifty years of service in the United National system, I perceive the utmost urgency and absolute necessity for proper Earth government. There is no shadow of a doubt that the present political and economic systems are no longer appropriate and will lead to the end of life evolution on this planet. We must therefore absolutely and urgently look for new ways."

Dr. Robert Muller, UN Assistant Secretary General

"Nations are in effect ceding portions of their sovereignty to the international community and beginning to create a new system of international environmental governance as a means of solving otherwise unmanageable crises."

Lester Brown, WorldWatch Institute

"A keen and anxious awareness is evolving to suggest that fundamental changes will have to take place in the world order and its power structures, in the distribution of wealth and income."

Club of Rome, Mankind at the Turning Point

"Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, air-conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable."

Maurice Strong, Rio Earth Summit

"All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself."

Club of Rome, The First Global Revolution

"The Earth has cancer and the cancer is Man."

Club of Rome, Mankind at the Turning Point

"A cancer is an uncontrolled multiplication of cells, the population explosion is an uncontrolled multiplication of people. We must shift our efforts from the treatment of the symptoms to the cutting out of the cancer. The operation will demand many apparently brutal and heartless decisions."

Prof. Paul Ehrlich, The Population Bomb

"A reasonable estimate for an industrialized world society at the present North American material standard of living would be 1 billion. At the more frugal European standard of living, 2 to 3 billion would be possible."

United Nations, Global Biodiversity Assessment

"A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal."

Ted Turner, founder of CNN and major UN donor

"The resultant ideal sustainable population is hence more than 500 million but less than one billion."

Club of Rome, Goals for Mankind

Club of Rome’s members, Lamontagne was the most candid in identifying the Earth’s greatest enemy to be human creativity itself. Writing in his Senate Committee Reports of 1968-1972 which reformed science policy funding and planning, Lamontagne wrote:

“Nature imposes definite constraints on technology itself and if man persists in ignoring them the net effect of his action in the long run can be to reduce rather than to increase nature’s potential as a provider of resources and habitable space… But then, an obvious question arises: How can we stop man’s creativeness?”

Correctly recognizing that the yearning to discover the unknown is built into the human condition, Lamontagne answers his own question, writing:

“How can we proclaim a moratorium on technology? It is impossible to destroy existing knowledge; impossible to paralyze man’s inborn desire to learn, to invent and to innovate… In the final analysis we find that technology is merely a tool created by man in pursuit of his infinite aspirations and is not the significant element invading the natural environment. It is material growth itself that is the source of conflict between man and nature.”

There are much more insidious & devious machinations behind this DeGrowth, Deindustrialization, Centralization, Globalization Insanity that is happening now, in overdrive.

Listen to this creep, former director of the Club-of-Rome, Dennis Meadows:

" Depopulation: "I Hope It Can Occur In a Civil Manner"

"The World can support something like a billion people, maybe two billion"

" I know in one way or another it's going to come back down so i don't hope to avoid that, I hope that it can occur in a civil way "

F. William Engdahl explains what is going on:

The Dark Origins of the Davos Great Reset:

By F. William Engdahl

22 October 2022

"...Important to understand is that there is not one single new or original idea in Klaus Schwab’s so-called Great Reset agenda for the world. Nor is his Fourth Industrial Revolution agenda his or his claim to having invented the notion of Stakeholder Capitalism a product of Schwab. Klaus Schwab is little more than a slick PR agent for a global technocratic agenda, a corporatist unity of corporate power with government, including the UN, an agenda whose origins go back to the beginning of the 1970s, and even earlier. The Davos Great reset is merely an updated blueprint for a global dystopian dictatorship under UN control that has been decades in development. The key actors were David Rockefeller and his protégé, Maurice Strong..."

Europe’s Energy Armageddon From Berlin and Brussels, Not Moscow

By F. William Engdahl

31 August 2022

"...On August 22 the exchange-traded market price for natural gas in the German THE (Trading Hub Europe) gas hub was trading more than 1000% higher than a year ago. Most citizens are told by the Scholz regime that the reason is Putin and Russia’s war in Ukraine. The truth is quite otherwise. EU politicians and major financial interests are using Russia to cover what is a Made in Germany and Brussels energy crisis. The consequences are not accidental...."

Not us, we invested in a solar system and electric cars and have lived and driven with free electricity for eight years now.

The PV solar system paid back in three years in gasoline savings alone.

Well demonstrated examples of the important role of market systems in the allocation of resources and hence productivity creating more wealth and knowledge, and hence faster adaptation to challenges of climate and conservation. The experience of China's economic miracle, the largest in history, demonstrates that the Marxist ideological quest to replace market systems is not feasible. On the contrary China developed competent public sector / administration institutions that coordinated the commercial environment around public and private sector finance and public and private sector production, with a steady marketization of public and private sectors, growth of market operation in both sectors and growth of the private sector finance and production. This experience aligns with Janeway's observations in 'Doing Capitalism in Innovation Economy' where he argues there are 3 basic sectors of economy: public, finance, and production, and Polanyi's broader argument of public and private economy. The production makes goods, finance makes new ways to make goods, public makes the commercial environment for finance and production to make goods. Through experience of China, Russia, and Eastern Europe over decades many people and institutions honestly tried to replace market systems, they tried everything they could think of. Any ideology, politics or scholarship that maintains a dichotomy between 'capitalism' and 'socialism' today denies the fundamental lesson of this experience. The eons old inherent process of technology change driving creative destruction increases disruption and conflict, as well as remaking eco and institutional systems posing new challenges. There is much evidence that any country embarking on substantial information / AI / intelligent software based economy must increase state capacity to coordinate the commercial environment around this new economy, its massive productivity, and transition to it. NRIC and ARDP are nascent shoots of a state capacity for commercialization that is broader than most of the public sector yet still quite narrow compared to the breadth needed and soon to be needed.
